THE RETHINK COURSE

THE RETHINK COURSE ○

For everyone who wishes they were working from somewhere like this…

Instead of somewhere like this.

Look around and you’ll notice…

A new landscape of work where burnout, languishing, quiet quitting and the great resignation dominate headlines on a daily basis.

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed about what it all means and where to start.

Despite the fascination with work and its impact on us, there hasn’t been a book capturing the science behind the lived experience of the modern workplace (wherever that is) and how individuals can use this to make it better for themselves.

It’s time to move beyond the noise of endless podcasts, articles, and your own confusion about where to begin.

Introducing…

The Rethink Course

An insider’s guide to post-conventional working, led by Dr Libby Sander.

27th October - 1st December

Begin the journey to explore how work and life might look different. Our online sanctuary is a cosy retreat where you can shut out the noise and explore how to make meaning out of the changes and opportunities that are upon us. The course is a manifesto of sorts - an insider’s guide to post-conventional working.

Many of us want to make change but have no idea how or where to start. We’ll step through how to imagine, and then create a new way of working and living that lines up with what you really want. You’ll learn how to create change from the insight drawn together from disparate (yet connected) fields - neuroscience, biomimicry, design, psychology, new ways of working, poetry, philosophy and psychophysiology to name a few.

Whether you dream of keeping your job while living in that Instagram worthy hacienda on the beach in Costa Rica, you’d like to start your own thing, or you just want to redesign your work week or your job, there are multiple paths within the content to take you from where you are to where you want to be.

From how to change your thinking (literally), to creating spaces that support who you are and how you like to live and work, the science behind a serendipity mindset, and aligning your strengths and passions to the work you do, the course isn’t the predictable run of the mill, join the dots pro-forma. You’ll discover how an urban safari can kickstart your creativity, put you into an elusive flow state and give you a preview into spillover innovation.

Take a breath and immerse yourself in a world of evidence backed insight, restorative design and like-minded community, guided by one of the world’s foremost experts on the future of work and the workplace.

The first step starts here.

For everyone who wants to make a change but doesn't know where to start.

  • The science on the times of day we are best suited to different tasks – concentrated work, admin, and creativity and how to structure your days (and choice of workspace) to take advantage of these.

Here’s what we’ll cover

The Introduction

A New Way of Thinking / The Path to a Life Less Ordinary / The Rethink Manifesto / The Journey to Post-conventional Working

In our opening fireside chat, Libby will cover what’s changing around the way we work and live and the opportunities this opens up. It’s literally a whole new world, but it’s easy to feel overwhelmed about what it all means and where to start.

How do we make sense of this new landscape of work where burnout, languishing, quiet quitting and the great resignation dominate headlines on a daily basis. For many people, their definition of success and ambition has changed in the last two years. We set the stage in our first session, looking at the real stories as well as the research behind these trends and how we can make sense of them for ourselves.

The new world of work has opened up opportunities that we didn’t think possible just two years ago.

You might be:

  • Wanting to create a work life that doesn’t leave you in a perpetual state of overwhelm, depending on coffee and adrenalin to get through the days until you can recover on the weekend or on holidays.

Our first session incorporates live discussion and activities to uncover what you want to guide our journey over the coming weeks.
